Happy New Year! We hope 2019 brings you joy, great health, and lots of memories made outdoors!

Andover Landscape Design & Construction has more exciting news!

In addition to having a new home at 90 Main Street, Andover, we're happy to announce that our in-house landscape architect and firm partner, Russell Stott, has transitioned to Andover Landscape Design and Construction on a full-time basis. This means that he will be creating his hand-drawn designs for projects Monday through Friday and will be available for more daytime meetings to better serve you!

Russell's previous full-time position was at Phillips Academy in Andover as the manager of grounds -- a position that oversees the renowned 700-acre campus noted for the quality of its Olmsted and Charles Platt design. Russell immersed himself in studying archived drawings of the campus and worked to restore much of the original historic landscape. In 2015, Russell was promoted to senior manager where he continued overseeing the grounds as well as campus design and sustainability initiatives. Russell managed several large-scale landscape renovation projects, participated in the development of the 2017 Campus Master Plan, and most recently led campus efforts to develop a climate action plan.

Last year was an incredible one for Russell. In addition to welcoming his first child, Jesse, he also received the New England Home's 5 Under 40 Award for his accomplishments in the design field. His designs also helped the Andover Landscape Design and Construction team earn Boston Magazine's Best of Boston Home 2018, Best of Houzz Design 2018, Best of Houzz Service 2018, and Northshore Magazine's BONS 2018 (Best of Northshore Award) in two categories: garden design and water feature.
