Making old new again. This secluded back yard featured a perfectly good pool situated within a large yard but lacked the necessary entertainment areas the clients desired. Using the existing pool and deck as our starting point, we created additional patios that were programmed for specific activities, such as the south-facing, chaise lounge terrace for sun bathing; or the raised, wooden platform with a trellis above to casually lounge in the shade. A wood-burning fire pit, a built-in grill with granite countertops, and a playful summertime planting bring all the elements together for a functional and beautiful outdoor space.
